Analysis of efficiency enhancement of flat plate solar collector using crystal nano-cellulose (CNC) nanofluids

The upward energy demand, along with the depletion of conventional sources, demands improved utilization renewable resources. Among all resources, solar is most appropriate alternative to sources owing its inexhaustibility and green property. Solar collectors are devices that convert radiation into heat or energy. However, efficiency collector still not adequate. competent step enhance use nanofluids. This study carried out different phases viz. characterization stabilization while both qualitative quantitative methods used evaluate stability nanofluids thermophysical properties Al2O3 CNC such as thermal conductivity measured at four temperature using KD2 Pro, viscosity specific determined similar range by viscometer differential scanning calorimetry respectively. experiment executed a fixed flow rate in steady-state conditions under extensive radiation. experimental has revealed up 2.48% 8.46% enhanced 0.5% Moreover, show good moderate performance. Besides, increased decreasing trend increasing temperature. Nanofluids could flat-plate collector.
